Gonzo Media LLC ("Gonzo Media," "we," "us") operates gonzo.media. This policy explains what information we collect through the site, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Information You Give Us
We collect information only when you choose to send it. That happens in two places:
- The contact form. Your name, email address, the service you are interested in, and whatever you write in the message field.
- The real estate quote builder. Your name, email address, the property address, your preferred shoot date, and the package and add-ons you selected.
You do not need an account to use this site, and we do not ask for information we have no use for.
Information Collected Automatically
Our web host records standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. These are kept for security and troubleshooting and are not used to build a profile of you.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. When you pay a deposit or a balance, you enter your card details on Stripe's own checkout page, not on gonzo.media. We never see, receive, or store your full card number. Stripe sends us your name, email address, the amount paid, and the last four digits of the card so we can identify the booking.
Stripe's handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
reCAPTCHA
Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, which distinguishes real visitors from automated bots. To do this, Google collects hardware and software information from your device and browser, along with interaction data, and sends it to Google for analysis. reCAPTCHA sets cookies in your browser as part of this process.
This use is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Address Suggestions
When you type a property address into the quote builder, the partial text is sent to our server, which queries a mapping provider to return suggestions. The lookup happens server-side so that no API credentials are exposed in your browser. Partial addresses typed into that field are not stored unless you submit the form.
Cookies
Gonzo Media does not set advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookies placed while you browse this site come from Google reCAPTCHA, as described above, and are necessary for the forms to function.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiry and prepare a quote.
- To schedule, deliver, and invoice booked work.
- To keep records of transactions as required for tax and accounting.
- To protect the site against spam and abuse.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing, and we do not send marketing emails to people who have only made an inquiry.
Who We Share It With
We share information only with the service providers needed to run the business: our web host, our email provider, and Stripe for payments. Each receives only what it needs. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
How Long We Keep It
Inquiries that do not become bookings are kept for up to two years. Records of completed bookings, including invoices and payment records, are kept for seven years to satisfy tax and accounting requirements. Delivered photo and video files are retained per the agreement for that project.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Payment card data never reaches our servers. Booking records are stored outside the public web directory and the client portal is password protected. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of what we hold.
Your Choices
You may ask us to provide a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. Email us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days. Note that we may need to retain certain transaction records even after a deletion request, where the law requires it.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR. We honor these requests regardless of where you are located.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
